Kadamba is likely to shift to electric buses and could have a fleet of around 100 electric buses. Speaking to reporters, Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho on Thursday confirmed that KTC was being helped by the Centre to procure the buses
"We will get around 25 electric buses that KTC will operate. Though we will get these buses soon, we will start operating them by November-December . We have asked for around 100 electric buses and the Centre is helping us with their procurement," said Godinho.
Godinho also inaugurated the blood donation camp taken up under the Sewa Saptah week to commemorate the birthday celebration of the PM Narendra Modi.
