Music and dance at BITS Pilani
PANAJI: Srutilaya, the classical music and dance group of BITS Pilani, KK Birla Goa Campus, in association with Indian Council of Cultural Relations will present Sursangam-2016, a tribute concert in memory of Professor Suresh Ramaswamy, on October 15, from 5 pm onwards.
Sursangam-2016 is set to be an enthralling evening with the recital of the Rudra Veena by Ustad Bah’ud-din Dagar. He will be accompanied on the pakhawaj by Pandit Sanjay Pant Agle.
BITS alumni will also be presenting a short Carnatic recital with Shreecharan S on vocals accompanied by Ramanujan N on mridangam along with Pranav Palande on harmonium. Sursangam 2016 will be held at the auditorium of BITS Goa.
