Muthalik’s ban on entry into Goa extended by 2 more months

The entry into Goa of Sri Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik and his associates has been extended for a further 60-day period with 

effect from January 21, an order issued by South Goa District Magistrate Agnelo Fernandes said. 

Fernandes’ order said Pramod Muthalik’s entry is barred for a further period of 60 days under section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The State government has been barring his entry into Goa continuously since 2014.  

“In exercise powers vested in me under Section 144 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, I do hereby prohibit the entry of Shri Pramod Mutalik, son of Shri Hanmant Rao Mutalik, leader of “Sri Ram Sene” and any of his associates or members for a period of 60 days with effect from January 21, 2019,” the order issued by Fernandes reads.
