Stating that the future of BJP is dependent on youth power, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday appealed to the people to once again give a chance to the BJP for the development of the State and the nation.
Naidu was speaking at the youth meet organised by the Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at Aggarwaddo in Mandrem constituency. The meeting was especially organised to address the first-time voters.
Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar, ZP member Arun Bankar, former ZP member Deepak Kalangutkar, BJYM president Abhijit Salgaonkar, sarpanchas, panchas and others were present.
Speaking further, Naidu said Pakistan had troubled the Indian economy earlier by printing duplicate Indian currency notes. “To control this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the step of demonetisation and 170 crore people in the country did not express their displeasure over the move,” he added.
“Congress looted the people, but the BJP government controlled the situation. BJP connected each and every village in the country and BJP is the only option for the nation,” stated Naidu.
Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar said even when he was the opposition MLA for 10 years, he gave priority for development and he undertook all-round development of Goa in the last five years.
“Give us a chance once again in this assembly election to solve the unemployment problem,” said Parsekar.
