Nature trek to Pali held
BICHOLIM: The students of Green Audit division of Zantye College of Commerce recently participated in trekking expedition to Pali waterfall.
In all, 50 students participated in the expedition which was conducted under the guidance of Prof Satyawan Harmalkar, Sindhura Parab and Ribeko Pinto.
The students walked a distance of about 3 kms after alighting at Pali to reach near the waterfall.
Environmentalist Samir Matonkar briefed the students on different types of flora and fauna, medicinal herbs and birds.
Later, a drawing competition based on nature was organised, in which Suhas Pednekar, Laxman Nagvekar and Yash Budkule won the first three prizes.
