Residents of Nagmodem-Navelim along with the ward panchayat member Natty Coelho cried foul after they found a pipe connected to a sewage chamber to a storm water drains for drainage of the water.
The panchayat member pointed out that the entire area, which is inhabited by local residents, has been bit by foul odor with the discharge of the water from the sewage chamber.
She demanded to know why the sewage chamber is connected to the drain and whether it is prudent on the part of the authorities to leave water from the sewage chamber in the drain.
