NCP has solution for Goa's problems: Pawar
BICHOLIM: National president of Nationalist Congress Party Sharad Pawar on Sunday said NCP has many good programmes to recover from the problems that are faced in Goa.
He was addressing a public meeting of NCP at Sakhali for the campaigning of Sakhali NCP candidate, Pratap Gawas.
Speaking further, Pawar said if BJP can see Goa in terms of beauty, then why can’t it see the problems faced by Goa on different issues.
“The government should make use of its power for the welfare of people, but the BJP government in Goa misused power for the destruction of Goa,” alleged Pawar.
He further said both the BJP and Congress are responsible for mining ban in Goa and the ill effects of it can be witnessed by mining dependents.
He added that NCP has many good programmes to recover from the problems faced in Goa.
Pratap Gawas said after working for the party for last several years and developing Sakhali constituency, he was denied the Congress ticket. He said he is determined to develop Sakhali after getting elected on the NCP ticket.
Chitra Wagh and Avinash Bhonsle also spoke.
