Mandrem police arrested a youth from Nepal on charges of possessing drugs worth Rs 8.32 lakh near the old ferry point at Kiranpani in Paliem-Pernem on Tuesday morning.
Acting on information, Mandrem PSI Jaydeep Palyekar, along with two Panchas and a team, conducted a narcotic raid and caught Ganesh Kalauni (21), presently residing at Aronda in Sindhudurg-Maharashtra, allegedly in possession of a substance suspected to be drugs worth Rs 8.32 lakh.
Mandrem police are conducting further investigation into the case.
