With some tenants highlighting that they were not aware of the drive to update membership of Neura-O-Grande tenants association, the Tiswadi Mamlatdar has issued directions to the association to help give the initiative publicity and aid in updating the list.
The directives came after a farmer Jayant Shirodkar wrote to the Tiswadi Mamlatdar highlighting that many farmers were not aware of the drive in which the farmers were given a time till May 12 to submit their applications along with supported documents.
“The association has not given adequate publicity for this exercise as there is no public announcement or newspaper advertisement. There is also no mention of where and to whom the interested persons should contact and submit the claim as well as incomplete details of what documents are required to be submitted,” Shirodkar said in his plea to the Mamlatdar.
