Nigerian arrested with drugs

PORVORIM: Saligao Police arrested a Nigerian national on charges of possessing narcotic substances worth Rs 50,000 at Sangolda.

According to Saligao Police, they received information that there was drug trade going on in Sangolda.

Acting on the tip-off, Saligao PSI Atikesh Khedekar and a police team led by Saligao PSI Sandesh Chodankar conducted a raid at Sangolda football ground and arrested the accused, Kingsley Echezona Egueze red-handed and seized cocaine, charas and some narcotic tablets worth Rs 50,000.

Police is investigating the case.
