The District Magistrate, North Goa has issued prohibitory order to close the shops/stalls outside Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim in on November 9 in view of the visit of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar, to participate in the concluding ceremony of 37th National Games.
The event will be held at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium with the stall owners directed to remain shut for business from 12 pm to 6 pm.
The Goa Police will further be releasing traffic plan for the closing day.
