No Covid deaths on Monday

No Covid-related deaths were recorded in Goa on Monday. The total Covid victim count of the state remains stable at 772.

A total of 57 new cases of the infection were detected from among 1,289 samples tested in the last 24 hours. Of the total 53,973 confirmed cases so far, 733 are presently active.

Health Dept begins vaccinating frontline workers

PANAJiThe Directorate of Health Services, on Monday, began Covid vaccination of frontline workers. A total of 95 frontline workers were vaccinated in the state, 35 in South Goa and 60 in North Goa, on the first day of the second phase of Covid vaccination.
