Winds of instability seemed blowing at Paroda village panchayat in Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao’s home turf.
Four members of the opposition group have tabled a no confidence motion against the Sarpanch Paulina Fernandes and deputy Shailesh Jotkar. They have charged the Sarpanch and deputy Sarpannch for not taking body members into confidence and not being available for public in the office
Signatories to the motion are Deepak Kharangate, Natalino Francisco Vissoscar, Manisha Naik and Rajeshree Gaonkar.
All eyes are focused on the Paroda panchayat as the ruling Paroda Panchayat body, sources said, is aligned to the Cuncolim MLA Yuri Alemao.
