Sirsaim Sarpanch Daya Fadte got a breather after a no-confidence motion moved against him was defeated at a meeting held at the panchayat office on Tuesday. The motion was defeated by a margin of 4-3 votes.
When the motion was taken up for voting, four panchayat members “ Simran Uskaikar, Rupesh Madgaonkar, Gokuldas Kandolkar and Fadte voted against it while Rajaram Parsekar, Mesha Kudnekar and Nilesh Kambli voted in favour.
Sarpanch Daya Fadte was reinstated as Sarpanch of Sirsaim panchayat after duly completing the entire process.
