The members of Goa Roads Safety Forum (GRSF) on Sunday night tied reflector belts around the necks of stray cattle to prevent road mishaps caused by them.

Dilip Naik of GRSF, Pramod Sawant of People of Ponda, Nilesh Naik and others were present on the occasion. They tied reflector belts around the necks of stray cattle which were found squatting on the roads in city area.
The Forum members informed that they will continue the programme and will tie reflector belts to a maximum of stray cattle.
Accidents have taken place in Ponda due to the stray cattle menace and people have often demanded that the stray cattle menace be tackled. This prompted GRSF to take up
the task.
The members had a tough time to tie the reflectors around the necks of to stray cattle. Hence, passersby enquired about their work and also offered their help.
