NRI Goan dies in accident at Mapusa

A Non-Resident Indian was killed on the spot in a road mishap in Mapusa early Sunday morning.
The accident took place at around 2 am on Sunday. The victim, John Creado (28) from Arpora and his friends were travelling from Arpora to Tivim on two separate two-wheelers.
On reaching near the Anandi Aparments in Mapusa, he ran into a buffalo and skidded and fell on the road and suffered grievous injuries and died instantaneously, police informed.
Police conducted the panchanama and handed the body over to the relatives after the post mortem. PSI Kiran Naik and Havaldar, Riki Fernandes are investigating the case.
