Nuvem Cong leader’s hoardings vandalised

MARGAO

Supporters of Nuvem Congress leader and former sarpanch Pausilipo Dourado staged a protest after his hoardings were damaged by unknown persons over the past two days.

The supporters said the damaged hoarding was the third of Dourado’s hoardings to be vandalised. They demanded that the persons responsible be identified and action taken against them.

They said a complaint had been lodged with the Maina Curtorim police and urged the police to investigate the matter. “We decided to keep quiet when Dourado’s face on two hoardings was disfigured by miscreants. We have finally decided to protest as there has been no let-up in the damage to his hoardings,” they said, urging the Maina Curtorim police to nab those responsible.
