A 50-year-old Odisha native, Maniram Oram, a resident of Cutbona jetty, died at Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim, on October 28 while undergoing treatment for breathing difficulties.
Cuncolim police said Oram developed breathing difficulties around 8.30 pm on October 22 and was taken by a 108 ambulance to District Hospital, Hospicio, Margao. He was admitted there before being referred to GMC on October 23 at 2 pm.
Police conducted an inquest panchanama, and the body was preserved at GMC for further medico-legal
formalities.
