Umeshchandra Joshi has been appointed as the administrator of Sakhar Karkhana while Margaret Fernandes also awaiting posting has been sent as the Secretary of the Goa Human Rights Commission.
Besides this, V P Dangui has been given additional charge as officer on special duty to the Goa Election Commission, a crucial move given that the state panchayat elections are coming up and also that of the Managing Director of the Goa Handicrafts Corporation.
Surendra Naik Additional Collector of Bardez shall hold additional charge of the post of special land acquisition officer of Mopa Airport.
In the police sector, the government has given S P Bosco George the charge of S P FRRO in addition to his own duties with immediate effect.
