One arrested for scooter theft
MARGAO:The Maina-Curtorim police have nabbed one Sanjay Chouhan (35), a native of MP, who is suspected to have stolen a scooter from Nessai.
According to Maina-Curtorim police, the incident occurred on September 4, when the owner of the scooter, one Cajie, a resident of Nessai, had lodged a complaint with the police claiming that his scooter was stolen from Nessai.
The police accosted the suspect while they were on patrol on Friday. He was arrested and charged under Section 379 of IPC.
Further investigations are in progress.
