A motorcycle rider from Morlem-Sattari died, while a pillion rider and her son were injured in a road accident near a cashew factory at Morlem.
According to Valpoi Police, Narayan Gaonkar was proceeding on his motorcycle (GA-04-D-6351) from Morlem junction to New Colony Morlem, when it dashed against an oncoming Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle (GA-04-J-0739) near a cashew factory at Morlem.
Police further informed that Narayan Gaonkar succumbed to injuries while undergoing medical treatment at GMC Hospital in Bambolim, while pillion rider, Manisha Gurav, and her son Sushi sustained injuries. Police is investigating the case.
