A 11-year-old boy from a slum area in Ponda was allegedly sodomised by two persons hailing from Karnataka on Thursday afternoon. One person has been arrested in this connection.
Sources informed that the incident took place in the toilet of a sports complex, after the two accused assaulted the boy and then sodomised him.
One Juber Akshamani has been arrested in this connection, while another accused is absconding.
Offences have been registered under Sections 377 and 323 of IPC, under Section 8 of Goa Children Act and Section 4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
