Outrage of modesty; youth held
PANAJI: Panaji Police booked a 20-year-old resident of Vaddem-Vasco for outraging the modesty of a female Portuguese national (36) at Mala on Sunday night.
According to the complaint, on Sunday night at around 9.40 pm, Arshad Mohammad Abdul Pandit Sab (20), a native of Karwar, followed the complainant and upon reaching near Panaji Inn at Mala touched her thereby outraging her modesty.
At this point, the complainant screamed for help. Onlookers caught hold of the accused and handed him over to the police.
Sab has been booked under Section 354, 354-A, 354-D of IPC.
