Over 3,000 students have registered themselves for the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) scheduled to be held on July 11 and 12.
GCET is mandatory for Class XII science stream students hoping to pursue Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree courses.
The 3,052 students registered for GCET this year is marginally higher than the 2,900-odd students who took the test last year.
Meanwhile, students will be given the option of selecting their exam centre.
The physics paper of GCET will be held on July 11 from 10 am to 12 noon, followed by the chemistry paper on the same day from 2 pm to 4 pm. Only July 12, the mathematics paper will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon.
