As there’s no respite to the overflowing soakpit of a huge residential housing colony at Gogol, with sewage overflowing onto the adjoining road, Chief Officer, Y B Tawde called the parties as well as representatives of various agencies to hammer out a solution to the vexed issue.
While the residents maintained that the issue could be resolved if the building is connected to the sewerage line, PWD officials were skeptical since the Sewage treatment plants have been awaiting commissioning for over six months now.
Meanwhile, MMC Chief Officer Y B Tawde has issued a notice to a restaurant situated at Radha Enclave on Isidorio Baptista Road, Margao.
