Panaji police begin search for kidnapper, victim

The Panaji police on Tuesday booked an offence against an unidentified person for allegedly kidnapping a 17-year-old from St Inez. The missing teen’s aunt complained alleging that her niece was kidnapped by the accused and taken to an unknown destination. The girl has been missing for 48 hours. A First Information Report (FIR) under sections 363 (kidnap) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the Goa Children’s Act has been registered against the accused, and a search is launched for the victim and the man.
