Labelling Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar as a failed chief minister, the Congress on Tuesday said Parrikar’s inability to find a solution to the problems facing the State and his attempts to blame Congress for all the problems clearly showed that he was frustrated.

The Congress spokesman was reacting to The Goan query on Manohar Parrikar’s charge against the Congress during his karyakatas meeting in Panaji on Monday.
“When FDA officials say in the morning that there is formalin in fish and by evening take a U-turn and then say it’s within permissible limits, it clearly shows that something is seriously wrong,” Panjikar shot back.
He said the administration was a confused lot and BJP MLAs and ministers attacking each other also showed there was utter confusion in the rank and file of the party and the government.
“In such circumstances, the CM has to take such meetings of karyakatas to keep the flock together. They have been distancing from the BJP. Some have also come to Congress. They don’t like the way this government has been functioning,” he said.
The Congress spokesman said that the party was proud to carry out propaganda of the party and will continue to
do so. “Yes, Congress is doing propaganda but we are doing propaganda of our party. And we speak the truth. Congress is not in the habit of propagating lies. That is BJP’s culture,” Panjikar hit out.
He said Congress will always speak the truth and take up real issues that affect the common man.
“We will always speak what is right and raise our voice against the wrong,” he said.
