A pillion rider from Loutolim died in a road accident that took place in the wee hours of Sunday at Loutolim.
Maina-Curtorim police informed that the incident occurred when the rider Everist Gauncar, a resident of Arlem-Raia and the pillion rider Joliton Fernandes sustained grievous injuries after the motorcycle hit a divider.
The police said the pillion rider Joliton Fernandes, a resident of Loutolim sustained grievous injuries in the accident. He later succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
The Maina-Curtorim police is investigating.
