A water pipeline ruptured at the Velus bridge in Sattari on Saturday morning, disrupting water supply to many parts of the taluka.

Water is supplied to Thane and surrounding areas through one pipeline, while Nagargaon, Sawarde and Valpai municipal areas are supplied water through the second pipeline.
