Plaint of breaking and opening filed
PONDA: Ponda Police registered an offence against some persons for allegedly breaking and opening locks of the shelter of a garage at Navadurga temple, Marcaim.
Police informed that acting on the complaint of Saeesh Kamat, secretary managing committee having office at Shree Navdurga temple, Marcaim, an offence was registered.
The complainant stated that some persons broke opened the locks put on the shelter of the garage used for parking and took out the Aasanan of the deity from the garage without their knowledge.
The offence was registered under Section 448 r/w 34 of Indian Penal Code and police is investigating the case.
