A complaint has been lodged with Mapusa Police against former attorney of Serula comunidade Agnel Lobo, Mamlatdar of Bardez, Administrator of comunidade and the beneficiaries of Vazarkar family in connection with alleged illegal mutation of 8000 sq meters of land in survey No 404/1 belonging to late Arjun Vazarkar.
This was stated at the meeting of Serula comunidade by President of Serula comunidade Alex D’Souza.
Meanwhile, it was decided that Serula comunidade will offer 2700 sq meters of land in survey number 251/2 in Quitla to Salvadodor do Mundo panchayat for segregation of dry garbage on an annual rent of Rs 50,000.
Alex D’Souza mentioned that the Comunidade Ghar Project near Dona Memorial School at Porvorim is sub-judice. There has been gross irregularities in the allotment of 72 shops and offices. A meeting will be convened shortly to discuss the issue in detail,
said D’Souza.
The Gaonkars of Serula comunidade also unanimously rejected the proposal of the government to offer 2000 sq meters of land to the SC/ST research centre. They demanded that it be allotted to them.
The Serula comunidade has decided to conduct a detailed survey of plots illegally grabbed by the people and take necessary action.
The gaonkars demanded action against former police officer Shamba Sawant for illegally acquiring 1400 sq meters of land under Tenancy act.
The Gaonkars also brought to the notice of the office bearers of Serula communidade about illegal filling of fields at Penha de Franca and Salvador do Mundo and demanded immediate action.
