In the last two days, the Goa police in Colva and Maina Curtorim conducted successful drug raids, arresting several individuals and seizing illegal substances. On Wednesday, the Colva police arrested two people near the flyover bridge at Tolleabandh-Benaulim. They confiscated 450 grams of a grass-like substance suspected to be ganja, valued at Rs 45,000. In a separate incident on Tuesday, the Maina Curtorim police conducted a narcotics raid and arrested a person caught with 206 grams of a substance suspected to be ganja, worth Rs 20,000.
