Bull fights came to haunt the men-in-uniform on Thursday after a video of bulls locking horns right on the main road somewhere around Majorda went viral on the social media.
The Colva police, however, pointed out that the police received no call on Thursday morning, suggesting that a bull fight had taken place in Majorda.
When The Goan called up Colva police station in-charge, PI Theron D’Costa to shed light on the bull fight, he feigned ignorance, saying the Colva police did not receive any complaint from any quarter on Thursday.
He, however, said the men-in-uniform are trying to find out whether the purported bull fight took place at Majorda, saying necessary action will be initiated if at all the bull fight had taken place on Thursday.
The video of the bull fight that went viral, however, showed two bulls locking horns right on the main Majorda road early Thursday morning. Sources informed that the bull fight blocked traffic on the main road, and it took some time before the traffic stranded on the road was cleared.
