Politicians line up to seek blessings of Brahmeshanand Acharya Swami

Whether it has been to congratulate him on being conferred the prestigious Padma Shri or to seek his blessings ahead of the assembly elections, politicians of different affiliations and from all over the State have been visiting Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swami at the Shree Kshetra Tapobhoomi in Kundaim.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant was among the first leaders to visit Swami soon after he was conferred with the Padma Shri.

Other BJP leaders visiting the spiritual head included BJP State president Sadanand Tanavade, Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Tendulkar, Pramod Sawaikar, Satish Dhond, Vasco candidate Krishna (Daji) Salkar, Marcaim candidate Sudesh Bhingi, Mapusa candidate Joshua D'Souza and the Porvorim candidate Rohan Khaunte.

Among the Congress leaders visiting Brahmeshanand Acharya Swami included Goa in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao, GPCC president Girish Chodankar, Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat, GPYC president Varad Mardolkar, SC Department Chairman Vithu Morajkar, GPCC General Secretary Sunil Kawthankar, Curchorem candidate Amit Patkar and Sankhali candidate Dharmesh Saglani.

AAP CM candidate Amit Palyekar, as well as other AAP leaders like the Tivim candidate Uday Salkar, Priol candidate Nonu Naik and Sankhali candidate Manoj Ghadi Amonkar, have also sought the blessings of the Swami.

The Independent candidates visiting the Tapobhoomi in Kundaim included Panaji candidate Utpal Parrikar and Cumbarjua candidate Rohan Harmalkar.

"Visited Shree Kshetra Tapobhoomi, Kundaim and took the Blessings and Guidance of Sadguru Brahmeshanand Aacharya Swami. His positive Energy has energised me for the days leading up to the Goa Assembly Elections2022,” said Mapusa MLA Joshua Dsouza after visiting the Swami.

Said Amit Petkar Congress candidate from the Curchorem constituency: "It's my honour to be in presence of Padma Shri Sadguru Shri Brahmeshanand Acharya Swami Ji at the sacred Tapobhoomi and also personally congratulated him on being conferred with Padma Shri.”

“This also gave me a chance to seek his blessings towards safety, prosperity, success, and growth for our Curchorem constituency and we will make our Curchorem Vibrant," he added.

Former Porvorim MLA and BJP candidate Rohan Khaunte also said it was an honour to be in presence of His Holiness Sadguru Shri Brahmeshanand Acharya Swami.

“Personally congratulated him on being conferred with the Padma Shri. This also gave me a chance to seek his blessings towards safety, prosperity, success, and growth for Porvorim and the state of Goa,” he said.
