Porvorim local ends life
SALIGAO: A resident of Journalist Colony in Porvorim allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling hook on Wednesday.
According to Porvorim Police, Darshana Patil complained that her husband Prasad had gone for a morning walk at 5 am and did not return home.
The police conducted search and found that his office was closed. The police with the help of duplicate key opened the office and found Prasad's body hanging from the ceiling hook.
Police found a suicide note near the body in which he had stated that no one was responsible for his death. The body was sent to GMC Hospital for post-mortem. Prasad Palni is investigating the case under the supervision of PI Jivba Dalvi.
