OLD GOA
Despite Chief Minister Pramod Sawant’s deadline to remove all potholes by November 1, potholes at Ribandar and Old Goa continued to be neglected and pose a threat to road users.
When The Goan visited the Ribandar-Old Goa road late Tuesday evening, potholes were seen untouched at Sao Pedro-Old Goa and at Fondvem and Patto junction in Ribandar.
Incidentally, potholes on the road from Ribandar-Patto junction to Chimbel Chapel junction have been partially removed.
While potholes from the road falling under the jurisdiction of Chimbel panchayat have been removed, those falling under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the City of Panaji have been left untouched.
