President Droupadi Murmu will arrive on a three-day visit to Goa from Tuesday during which she will address members of the legislative Assembly and also participate in the 34th Convocation ceremony of Goa University.
On the day of her arrival, the President will lay a wreath at the Martyr's Memorial at Azad Maidan in Panaji and also attend a civic reception at Raj Bhavan.
On Wednesday, Murmu will attend the Goa University's convocation ceremony at Durbar Hall in the Raj Bhavan at 10 am. Following which, she will interact with members of tribal groups in the State.
On the same day, at around 4 pm, the President will address legislators at the State Assembly complex.
On Thursday, Murmu will visit Fort Aguada, Basilica of Bom Jesus and famous Shantadurga temple in Ponda before returning to Delhi.
This will be Murmu’s visit to the State after she was elected 15th President, in July last year.
