Meanwhile, if former chief minister, late Manohar Parrikar was a workaholic with a hectic schedule, the new Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant was as busy as his mentor and predecessor on Day One as head of the government.
Barely hours after being sworn in as Chief Minister at about 1.45 am on Tuesday, Dr Sawant lost no time in visiting his native place at Kothanbi-Pali and seeking the blessings of Goddess Sateri and Chandreshwar Bhutnath for the development of the State.
