Anjuna Police rescued a 23-year-old Delhi woman in an alleged prostitution racket in a raid in Anjuna early Thursday morning.

MAPUSArrTwo persons have been arrested by the police for allegedly forcing the girl into prostitution. rActing on prior information they received, police raided the area near a lake at Vanachem Bhat and apprehended the two accused, Harminder Singh (27) and Sunil Kumar (29). The duo came in a Swift car along with the victim girl in order to supply her to a prospective customer, police said. rBoth the accused are from Delhi. The Swift car (DL-6-CK-5588) which was used in the operation has been seized. Anjuna Police is investigating the case.
Beware, households. If you plan to store your valuables, including gold ornaments, in tiffin boxes and utensils to keep them from the reach of burglars, then think twice.
