Mapusa MLA Joshua D'Souza said protests against the Cunchelim project were politically motivated, even as he affirmed the comunidade has all the permissions.
He also said that if there were any illegalities in the project, then he will be with the people. "As far as I know, the comunidade has the permission of the PDA and the municipality," D'Souza said.
He further said the comunidade has already provided space for a football ground and some allied activities in the area.
