QuizStock begins today at Dona Paula

PANAJI: The Sunday Evening Quiz Club (SEQC) marquee event - QuizStock, will be held on January 9 and 10, and will consist of six quizzes. These include a 2015 round-up quiz, one on books, a Bollywood quiz, one on travel and tourism and one on sports.

Goa Open, a general quiz will be the highlight of the event. All the quizzes will be hosted at the International Centre Goa (ICG) in Dona Paula.

Public meeting at KiranpaniPERNEM Keri-Tericol, Palyem Bachav Samiti (KTPBS) will convene a public meeting at Kiranpani-Palyem on January 10, at 3.30 pm, to oppose the controversial dredging activity in the Tiracol river.
