The two accused, Murari Kumar (24) and Upnesh Kumar (22) who were arrested by Vasco police in connection with the rape and murder of a 5-year-old girl at Vaddem have been remanded to 14 days in judicial custody by the Children’s Court at Panaji on Thursday.
Both accused are natives of Bihar and while one was a painter, the other was a mason, both working at the under-construction site.
They have been arrested under Sections 376, 302 IPC, Pocso Act and sections of Goa Children Act in connection with the rape and murder of a 5-year-old girl child.
