Rebellion brews in Fatorda Cong

Rebellion is brewing in the Fatorda Congress after the party gave indications that it will have seat adjustment with Goa Forward party for the seat.
Congress Seva Dal leader Camilo Barretto called up The Goan on Tuesday evening and informed that he has faxed his resignation to the Congress office following the development. Camilo informed that he will contest the February 4 election as an independent as the representative of the Scheduled Tribes.
Fatorda Block Congress committee president, Joseph Silva is also bracing up to quit the Congress and contest against Vijai Sardesai. He was huddled with Congress leaders and workers late Tuesday evening and is expected to tender his resignation to GPCC President Luizinho Faleiro on Wednesday morning.
Joseph informed that while he would quit the Congress and contest the election on a party banner, which he would disclose on Wednesday, the entire Block Congress Committee members would support his candidature by remaining in the Congress.
