Restricted water in Panaji for two days

The Public Works Department has notified that Panaji and certain surrounding villages including Taleigao, Merces, St Cruz and Bambolim will have restricted water supply on Thursday and Friday due to major pipeline work.   

The Public Works Department said, major work of interconnecting 600 mm and 400 mm diameter conveying mains at Merces is being carried out due to which supply has to be shut down.”There will be restricted water supply to consumers of Panaji, Taleigao, St Cruz and St Andre constituencies, including all defence establishments and the Goa Medical College on January 9 and 10,” the PWD  said.
