Revolutionary Goans a social organisation aiming to safeguard interest of Goan causes has started a registration drive of Goans born before liberation of Goa, Manoj Parab of Revolutionary Goans said at a press conference on Monday.
He said Revolutionary Goans is an apolitical organisation fighting for Goan causes. “Due to an influx of migrants Goans are losing jobs, losing identity. There are increasing crimes due to increase in the migrant population. To fight against this we have formed Revolutionary Goans”, he added.
Parab appealed to people to register with the organisation.
“We will provide a facility of registering through a calling number. Also, registration can be done through a website”, Parab said.
“We will approach people in villages to know their problems and agitate on issues faced by them”, Parab added.
Urging Goans to come together without any political affiliations for a common cause, Parab appealed to the youth to come forward and solve issues.
Rohan Kalangutkar meanwhile demanded that Police verification of migrant businessmen should be carried out immediately.
