A 35-year-old scooter rider from Gaonkarwada in Padeli-Sattari was injured when his scooter and a tempo collided with each other at Usgao-Ganjem on Friday afternoon.
Satish Naik was going towards Usgao on a scooter, while the tempo was in the oncoming direction.
Naik sustained serious injuries in the mishap and was shifted to the Piliem Primary Health Centre, and was later referred to the GMC hospital at Bambolim. Ponda police is investigating the incident.
