Rs 300 crore for Liberation Day celebrations not priority for State: Goa Forward

Goa Forward Chief Vijai Sardesai has said that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and the BJP do not understand Goa, and do not care about Goa, saying the Rs 300-crore budget allocation for Goa’s Liberation Day celebrations are not the priority for the state which is facing its biggest debt-crisis in its modern-day history.

Reacting to the Union Budget, Sardesai what Goa earnestly needs is a stimulus package for local Goan industries and sectors.

He further underlined the need to provide tax incentives for Goan owned tourism operators and immediate mining relief for Goan owned firms.
