A Russian national was arrested by the Calangute police for overstaying in the country without any valid travel document or visa.
Ms. Mitina Yulia Svetlav a native of Yasharke, Russia was illegally residing at Maddowado, Calangute at the house of a local resident.
The accused was arrested with provisions of Passport Entry into India Act, Passport rules and Foreigners Act; and has been remanded to judicial custody by Hon'ble JMFC Mapusa Goa.
