S Goa MP urges students to join Armed Forces
South Goa MP Viriato Fernandes inaugurating a school bus under his MPLAD Scheme at Cuncolim on Saturday.

South Goa MP Captain Viriato Fernandes on Saturday urged young students to aspire to join the Armed Forces and serve the nation with pride and dedication. He launched a new school bus for Infant Jesus High School, Cuncolim, managed by The Hind Education Society, in the presence of Leader of Opposition and Cuncolim MLA Yuri Alemao. The bus has been provided under the South Goa MPLAD (Members of Parliament Local Area Development) funds.

Captain Viriato also congratulated Headmistress Radha Prabhudessai, Chairman Siddharth Revankar, the School Management, and the students as the school prepares to celebrate its centenary in 2026. “On this occasion, I also interacted with the students and encouraged them to aspire to join the Armed Forces, serving the nation with pride and dedication,” Captain Viriato told the media.
