A couple of Salcete political heavyweights, including two former Minister Filipe Nery Rodrigues and Mickky Pacheco, former MLA Benjamin D’Silva and newcomers have all shown their assets running into crores of rupees.
Outgoing WRD Minister Filipe Nery, who is seeking reelection from Velim constituency on the NCP, has pegged his total movable assets to Rs 7.56 crore. His immovable assets are pegged at around Rs 4.19 crore.
Former Minister Mickky Pacheco, who is the NCP candidate for the Nuvem seat, has also shown his total assets running into crores.
A glance at the affidavit filed by the former minister shows that his total moveable assets and that of his spouse and dependents are pegged around Rs 1.74 crore.
His immovable assets are pegged at around Rs 6.55 crore.
Former Velim Independent MLA Benjamin D’Silva, who is now contesting on the Trinamool Congress party, has shown his moveable assets and that of his spouse to Rs 6.36 crore. His total immovable assets are pegged at around Rs 1.59 crore.
Aam Aadmi party Velim candidate Cruz Silva has shown his movable assets as Rs 1.34 crore. His total immovable assets are pegged at around 10.87 crore.
Congress Velim candidate Savio D’Silva has shown his total movable assets and that of his spouse and dependents as Rs 2.94 crore. His total immovable property is pegged at around Rs 1.36 crore.
Congress Benaulim candidate Tony Dias has shown his total movable property and that of his spouse and dependents as Rs 3.37 crore. His total immovable assets are pegged around Rs 2.15 crore.
